The Journal of Mediterranean Earth Sciences (JMES) takes
the place, expanding and enlarging areas of interest, of a historical journal
of the SAPIENZA University of Rome, Geologica Romana.
Its main objective is to highlight the numerous basic and applied researches
that are carried out in academic institutions and research centres of the
Mediterranean area.
The language of the journal is English. Prerogative of the JMES is to provide
the opportunity to publish quality long works, with lots of data, rapidly.
The articles will be peer-reviewed by international specialists from various
fields of earth sciences. The abstracts of accepted articles will be visible
immediately on line to the scientific community, so providing a reliable
source of information and a wide audience to the articles. Other benefits
