Laboratory of Photogeology
The Laboratory of Photogeology is devoted to teaching and research activities. These activities are aimed at geomorphological studies and production of thematic maps, especially through photointerpretation, photogrammetric and remote sensing analyses. Among the products of the Laboratory: lineation maps, drainage maps, photogeological maps, slope instability maps, land use and land cover maps, geomorphological and morpho-pedological maps.
Monday to Thursday: 9.00-16.00; Friday: 9.00-14.00
Wild APT2 dual-view stereoscope, Wild mirror stereoscopes, software for digital photogrammetric analyses (Digitali Video Plotter - DVP), GIS for geographic information. The Laboratory hosts an aerophotographic collection including: the complete coverage of Volo Italia 1988-89, the partial coverage of Volo G.A.I. 1954 and other local coverages.
