Master’s degree in Geological Sciences at the University of Urbino “Carlo Bo” in 2001 and PhD in Earth Sciences in 2009. Post Doc position at the University of Urbino “Carlo Bo” and Sapienza University of Rome from 2009 until 2015, Assistant Professor (Tenure-track position) at the Sapienza University of Rome from 2015 until 2018. Since the 1st of October 2018 full-time Associate Professor in Physical Geography and Geomorphology at the same University.

Water and Life in the Societies of the Ancient Near East”, P.I. Prof. Davide Nadali, within which I am the coordinator of geomorphological research at the Oasis of Damascus and at Ebla/Tell Mardikh territory.
